Program Description: Sand Island Wastewater Treatment Plant has been experiencing significant upgrades and expansion for over twenty (20) years. One of the latest construction activities was an 84" diameter hot tap/bag stop of the plant's outfall line.  The large diameter plus the demolition of the adjoining "dead leg" made this work extremely risky.  The speakers will not only share this hot tap case study, but will also provide a general update on Sand Island work.
